It’s -28 C where I’m going in next few hours. So happy for the another trip. I really missed it.
However, I’m missing to ride a bike on the city streets. Happily, seems it’s coming down shortly.

In June I flew to London to see the Bitter End and Dirty Money show as BE didn’t play in Portugal on that tour. You can check out my photos from the show at allxages.com by the way.
So, I stayed at Fibb’s flat for few days and we were basically hangin’ out. She is a cupcakes master and obviously I had to participate in the cupcakes ceremony.
One of her recipe below:
in separate bowl blend:
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup soy vanilla yoghurt
1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
then add the dry ingredients and mix well
add
1 cup of finally grated carrots
1/3 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
mix and fill the cupcake liners full
bake for aprox 22mins
leave to cool
frosting
margarine + loads of icing sugar + vegan cream cheeze + pinch of cinnamon + spoon of soy milk
blend and decorate as you like
keep in the fridge

From March to mid of September 2009, Jakub and me were living in Bobadela (Lisbon in fact), Portugal. During the time we hosted dozen of friends, members of our families and couchsurfers.
Well, to be honest we hosted people from around a whole World and from what I remember now, there were folks from Poland, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Portugal, Canada, Brasil, Australia and even from South Korea! Hmm, probably I missed some countries though. Anyway, you know the deal.
Once upon a time we talked about couchsurfing and how amazing it is as both of us use hospitality of known or unknown people all the time. In fact, I haven’t rented any flat since I moved out from Portugal so I know the best how it is.
One of the funniest sum up was that we have empty flat only 3-4 weeks for a whole time we lived there. Seems more like we were like a motel for travellers and I have a name for the motel, obviously “Motel Bobadela”. Good for it!
A conclusion of that talk was that it would be nice to take some pictures of people who use our couch in our living room. Too bad that we hit on the idea in late June so we missed a lot of interesting scenes. Anyway, I set up one of my camera on a tripod, and since that time, Kuba or me have pushed the shutter button from time to time. This short video shows what we get for it.

How do they say? Ah, Happy New Year! Yeah, we are heading for 2011..
[...Here, I removed few paragraphs about my story from one of the past New Year's Eves which basically have been crushing myself since that time. I decided to remove it and keep it to myself as it's a quite good story to complain about life and I want to complain from time to time, so...the Internet has to live without it...]
Anyway, just for a short sum up…
I planned to spend a New Year’s Eve in Asia a year ago. More or less I was sure it would be my first New Year’s Eve celebration alone since…ever? Anyway, it has never happened because.. all the 2010 was crap. It was crap to this point that I didn’t go to Asia then and (oh irony!) I spent this New Year’s Eve alone. A short difference is that I spent it in Poland and it wasn’t planned. This shows you how shitty 2010 was for me. And in fact, it digged me to the last day.
So, 2010 was a bad year. The worst thing was, I was balancing between good and bad moods. Between good and bad experiences etc. Fortunately, two or three months ago I realized that as shitty the 2010 is and I have started to prepare for an upcoming year…the 2011. And here we are today! I have already planned some travels and other stuff and I’m really looking forward to experience the 2011. This is my year. I truly believe in it!
As it’s a new year, I received some wishes…funny thing is most of them was about photography. So, let me make it upside down. This time there is no photo included. But..I have promised myself, I will start to upload stuff regularly! I promise…once again…but this is the 2011…it must be a good year! As 2011 is the year!
